That is what I am willing to spend to sort out the nightmare that is my hair. I am in Mullingar and have been to every single hair salon in town.

Usually just the once, but have been back to one salon for the third time and the cut is a disaster this time and Im not going back.I have very thick, half wavy half straight hair that is very difficult to style. I have resigned myself to the fact that I will probably have to go short.

I will go to Dublin -Queen or Dylan Bradshaw I think unless anyone can make any other suggestion. Can anybody recommend a stylist to go to??

Have you tried Salon Twenty One? I find Grace to be the best stylist they have, Jilly is great too, but she's only done my hair once, Grace has done it several times and gets it perfect each time. I've always left a happy customer.

Can you believe it the ONLY place I have not been to! Will think about it...I suppose more money does not necessarily mean a better cut.....

Moate isn't too far away from you. I go to Ultimate Image and find they are very good.

I 100% recommend going in there, you can phone in advance and book a consultation with one of the girls, or if you go in on a quiet day they may give you a consultation then.

I'm not sure if they charge for consultations but when I had one a few years ago (maybe 2 years ago?) they didn't charge but I don't know about now. It can't hurt to just have a chat with them, go through a few styles and see how you feel about it. The girls aren't pushy and won't force you to make an appointment or get any cuts/treatments there and then.

This is their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Salon-Twenty-One/129698520440504

I've always been extremely happy with them and so has anyone I know that's gotten their hair done there, that said, I've only ever gotten cuts, I don't dye my hair at all, so I can't comment on that, but as I said, I know various people who do, and none have been disappointed with the salon or it's staff.
