99 Daewoo Lanos down on power

    Hi all,

GF has a 1.3 Daewoo Lanos and driving into town today the car felt sluggish and shaky/rattly, and down on power with little to no acceleration. Car then lost all power and we had to pull into side of the road. It then cut out and would not start. Left it sit for a bit and tried to start it again, sluggishly it fired up. Managed to get it back to the house and seemed alright again except for the shakiness and noisy exhaust but seemed to have its power back. Any ideas what the cause may be? Dirty fuel/lines? HT leads? Spark plugs?

The exhaust sounded a bit funny, almost like it was blowing, but I wouldn't have expected that to cause the problem described above.

Anybody come across anything similar before on these cars?

    Any advice really appreciated.

EDIT:Just went out to try starting it again there, fired up no problem now. However it is idling around 900RPM (which seems too low to me) and the car shakes/vibrates quite noticeably (abnormally) when sitting at ~900RPM.
