Moving house so I will be investing in a Benq W1070 HD projector. I am looking to get a surround sound system to go with it. I will be using my pc for the projector. Would a sound system be connected to the pc or to the projector for audio and could anyone recommend a decent but not to pricey surround sound setup? Sorry am abit clueless when it comes to audio and connections for it. Thanks

Hi - you would definitely connect the pc to the sound system. The sound system depends on your budget and the audio out connections on your pc. Does your PC have HDMI out - useful if your receiver has HDMI passthrough.

Panasonic have a pretty good all in one surround sound system or if you prefer the separates route you might want to take a look at a magazine like what hi fi - they have a section where they recommend home cinema kit to meet all budgets.

I am moving house and am looking to update my home cinema kit. I am after a projector myself - would you mind telling me why you picked the Benq W1070 HD. Are you buying it in Ireland and if so do you mind me asking you where you get these.
