    Thanks

Why does she need social welfare? Shouldn't you be supporting her not the state

In relation to your application new guidelines say

    "Where Sponsor is Irish Citizen
17.2 An Irish citizen, in order to sponsor an immediate family member, must not have been totally or predominantly reliant on benefits from the Irish State for a continuous period in excess of 2 years immediately prior to the application and must over the three year period prior to application have earned a cumulative gross income over and above any State benefits of not less than €40k."

    http://www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/Family%20Reunification%20Policy%20Document.pdf/Files/Family%20Reunification%20Policy%20Document.pdf

    Also

"8.2 However the immigration authorities do not determine eligibility for State funded services and in many cases, particularly as regards social welfare payments, the eligibility conditions are the same for Irish citizens as for migrants."

If approved for a stamp 4 the normal HR rules in SW will apply.

Is she here with you now in Ireland, legally? Is so why are you not claiming for her as your Qualified Adult on your Job ridge payment?
