    Also interested in this -

I recently picked up some Armour All Car Wash Wipes in Woodies for the same purpose but quickly noticed that they managed to effortlessly clean off some tar specks that I didnt know were there - hence I wonder now that I have waxed and clanerd my car would these just strip back any sealent layer.

Would a bottle of rapid detailer and some soft tissue do a better job ?

    the autoglym ones work perfectly.

week before i bought them, 7/8 different birds left presents on my car.

3 weeks since i bought them, not a single one

cannot fault autoglym for results like that

At that price I'll never have to use bog roll again!

Are you buying bog roll embroidered in gold or sumthin? :pac:

Tesco do some good sandpaper quality bog roll in their Everyday Value range for a few euros

You're better off with this stuff, and the obligatory bog roll. Lasts way longer, and works better

Toilet / Kitchen roll isnt good for the paint.
A soft plush microfbre should be used.

Would baby wipes be harsher than these? What if they're the extra-sensitive or water wipes? :)

Speaking of kitchen roll,a bird left a nice big sh1te on my bonnet,I was in a hurry heading out so got some kitchen roll & dampened it.The bird must have been eating grit as it left some nice scratches after I cleaned it off:(

Jesus that's expensive! 75c per wipe?!

My approach is a microfibre cloth and a bottle of AG Rapid Detailer (€11 in Halfords). Lasts an age, leaves a shine and with a few squirts, removes even the toughest beat-on shite.

the magic has worn off. have had to use two of the wipes in the last few days, they do work very well it has to be said, that's not to say there aren't more cost effective solutions out there
