If it works then I'd leave it be :)

XBMC dropped support for the Xbox a few years ago so but these guys maintain a branch of it.

Downloading stuff used to a total pain, have to get FTP site details and logins of #Xbins IRC channels and stuff like that, maybe its changed now ?

    Hi

I have recently setup vision 4 for my arcade cabinet (which is similar to coinops but looks nicer) ,after the pc I had in it died.

http://coinopsproject.freeforums.org/ has plenty of info about it. And the latest versions can be downloaded from megaups.me which is a private torrent tracker.

I setup vision as my dashboard, so xbox boots straight into it.

Is it a stock HDD in the xbox or a bigger one?

Hypervision looks pretty cool. You can get it to fit a stock HDD too, which is handy.

You can ftp the xbox from the pc using a crossover cable and just delete the folders with other emulators etc on it, then transfer across the coinops folder, takes hours to transfer cause its around 50gb but just leave it. Any ftp client will do, I use filezilla, vid here:

Yeah ye can connect them both to router also and do it that way although I never done it myself, theres a load of partitions on the xbox but just look for the biggest, its f: on mine, in there will be all the emulators/programs etc in folders, thats where you want to delete/transfer what ya like
