I love the Tour of Louth, but I'm struggling to get the bike in any kind of condition to do it (never mind myself). Weather forecast for the weekend is looking really good, so I might throw caution to the wind and go anyway. Had a blast last year working with a small group back to the finish after the climb.

For those unfamiliar with the course, it's very flat apart from one big hill in the middle. There tends to be one big group up until the hill, and then everything fragments untill groups start to reappear on the flat after the descent.
    Also, it's timed.
Also, there are medals based on your time.
Also, people tend to put the hammer down due to the flat nature of most of the course. You'll struggle to do 100km quicker.
