Rapid HIV Test v Normal HIV test with 2 week wait

    Just have few qts please On Hiv (had protected sex with lady abroad and got chlamydia from her.

    1) are the 2 tests both 100% accurate? Would one test be better thsn other? I guess 2 week wait seems forever but at same time i'd like to think that if i eent for rapid test that that be that abd results be correct

    2) exposed 7 weeks ago. will i still have to get tested in three months again.

    3) would i be showing signs now of Hiv if had it. As in the flu symptoms. Working on building site and feeling ok so just wonder

    4) does anyone know any rapid hiv test centres in coleraine, derry or even belfast please. Need go on saturday.

    Hi OP,

    unfortunately, what you are seeking is medical advice, which nobody here is qualified to give. However I would imagine that a phone call or visit to your GP would answer all of your questions for you. Thread closed.
