Anyone else watch Bonanza at present or in the past? Twas a favourite of my Late Loving Dad and we used to watch it daily.

It’s primarily about the Cartwright family who own the Ponderosa and always, always ends as a lovely story on the side of the Cartwights.

Pure harmless tv viewing with Lorne Greene as main character Ben Cartwright; with Pernell Roberts as eldest son Adam; Dan Blocker as ‘Hoss’ and Michael Landon as Little Joe as the two other sons of Lorne Greene.

For some reason though, tg4 don’t seem to have consistency with their airing of episodes and switch between differing times and years.

Anywhoo, anyone else watch Bonanza on tg4?

    Thanks,
    kerry4sam

Did Clint Eastwood get his first break doing Bonanza - or was it Rawhide?

Just reminiscing there - Bonanza ran for fourteen years.

A lot of er, heavy-set kids were called Hoss back in the day.

Candy Canaday - now there's a name - and the actor who played the role is still working to this day at the ripe old age of 75.
