Just a question. Neighbour asked me to do a bit of spraying for him as he is under pressure but his tramlines are narrower then mine. Can I block off nozzles on my booms to fit and still be putting out the same volume of water per acre?

    Thanks

Yes once the pressure and speed stay the same.

Should be but check the section pressure stay constant as changing the number of nozzles will affect it.
The big problem i would see is what way do you plan to do headlands as your booms will be stuck in the ditch, will be the same when turning?

Better than the tramlines being wider:-)

I thought about the headlands bit but he said his headlands are v poor as were sown a bit later and just do what I can. Which I will do without catching my boom I suppose.

I'll test the rest of that section nozzles to see if they are putting out more. Will be lucky to get to him before rain anyway. Effin flat out as they say.

    Thanks for the info!
