    Hi Folks, I Have an Open Slurry Tank, 80ft Long by 32ft wide by 8th Feet Deep. How do work out What this Tank can Hold? Currently Milking 70 cows, & if i was Was to Expand to maybe 80 Cows, How much More Storage would i Need?.. I Get the Feeling i dont have Enough storage as it is. Thanks.

    if you multiply length x width x height = cubic feet and the just find a converter on line for cubic feet to gallons
    so its about 127000 gallons

    Don't forget to deduct for direct rainfall, freeboard and, if applicable, u must also make a deduction for soiled water from dirty yards. The above can really limit the capacity of open tanks
