    Hi,
APOY round 3 is 'World In Motion'
I know I should just decide myself but I always struggle to pick 1 photo for competitions/Boards book. So I'm just looking to get some opinions please

    Blurb from AP:
Sport will naturally spring to mind as the perfect subject matter for this challenge, but don't think you need exclusive press accreditation to some of sport's top-flight arenas and games to capture a great shot. Grass-roots games and amateur events can still produce fantastic photo opportunities, and you can apply the same principles and techniques that are used at major sporting events to these more accessible environments.

However, you're not just restricted to sporting events, so look further afield for inspiration. And while shooting with a fast shutter speed to capture the action lends itself to this subject, don't be afraid to consider using a slower shutter speed to illustrate the movement. Just show us something with bags of impact that captures the drama of the event.

1 Too cliched and probably similar to many other entries?

    2 I'm leaning towards this

    3 Too abstract?

    4 Too abstract?

    Thanks in advance,

Hi dinneenp, I would pick 2) out of the four. As for the other ones...
    1) While it is in line with the 'World in motion' theme, you're right, it probably won't stand out from all the other submissions.
3&4) These are just blurry images in my eyes, I don't like them personally.

I think it has to be number 2 for me, as you said 1 is cliched, 3 seems a bit to blurred to me. I like 4 but I prefer 2.

I like 2 as well, though the footy one is good too, no knowing what will get picked, do I see a little dust bunny on the red stripe?

Thanks. I've cleaned it before I entered it.
I had this photo in the Boards book in 2012
