Buy to let in Dublin

    Hi everyone , I think of buying a house or a flat to let in Dublin as an investment , am on a temporary job , I think of a downpayment between 15K to 20K, how much can I borrow ? Where to buy ? House or flat easy to let ? An advices ?

    If on a temporary job you can get mortgage for investment property it is safe to assume we are on the way to another bubble.
    Search forums, there are hundreds of answers to your questions already.

    No matter how many times I calculate potential return from buy to let property, it's never worth it. There are better yields elsewhere.

    Long term in Ireland and the UK taking the period 1960-2009 the real return on equites is 2% ahead of property. I imagine if you ran those numbers to end 2013 the difference would be higher again.

    The lack of effort involed in equites(buy and hold) over property must be worth something too:)
