    I am so happy.

After many years os neglect by myself, for various reasons, and a clear lack of ability to pay Dentist fees, I have been accepted for treatment by the Dental Hospital.

I was waiting 8 months for an assessment. I knew it may take this long.

I was aamzed at how welcome I was made feel. understanding the House dentist (I think that is her title) was. No judgement or making me feel guilty for the state of my teeth.

There's a lot of work reqyuired. From root canal, filin gs, extractinos and cosmetic work.

I was told to expect a letter in August with a start date. She told me it would be a long process. Costings weren't mentioned but my mind was put at ease with talk of a payment plan.

I am a great 'guinea pig' for her students.

4th Years will be working on me.

I don't feel that I neglect myself regarding dental treatment, I just find the fees too expensive and keep putting it off. But now I find when I go to the dentist I always have to keep going back for different bits to be done and each time I'm charged. Years ago I'd go, get a check up, a filling and a clean & scale all at the same time for one fee. I used to go every 6-12 months but now because of the cost I only go every couple of years. What do the dental hospital charge and how do I get an appointment?
