Lyricist / songwriter looking for musicians to write with

    Hello,

    I've been writing songs for over 10 years and I'm decent enough at it. Lyrics are my thing though and I'm not much of a musician (just rudimentary guitar), so I've fallen into a rut of writing songs that all sound the same because my musical range is really narrow.

    I'd love to work with one or more musicians who have the opposite problem and find they can compose songs musically but would like someone else to write the lyrics. And I'd like the challenge of writing in a different style.

    My musical taste is varied and includes: The Beatles / Clutch / Daft Punk / The Doors / Bob Dylan / Rory Gallagher / The Grateful Dead / LCD Soundsystem / Low / Jason Molina / Queen / The Smiths / Talking Heads / Therapy? / Neil Young / Warren Zevon (a mixed bag, I know).

    My songwriting so far has been singer-songwriter / indie type stuff but I'll give anything a go. So if someone out there needs words, let me know and we'll see if it works.

    30 year old male, based in Dublin (Dundrum area). I'm looking for any type of musicians who would like to work with a writer / singer really. It'd be nice to work with a biggish band, but I've been in a two-piece before and that worked well. What I'm really looking for is other creative people who I can work on ideas with, I've been working solo for ages now and just want a different challenge.
