PA / speakers for home recording and live gigs

Hi all,

I'm looking for a PA / speakers to use in a small home recording set up with Ableton and a Komplete Audio 6 4 channel input. I plan to have vocals / guitar / e-drums going through the KA to the monitors.

I'd also like to use the PA / speakers for small acoustic / open mic gigs, with possibly 1 or 2 mic input for vocals and 1 or 2 line in for guitar and / or keys. I spoke to Thomann and they said to search for "Acoustic amplifiers", and recommended these 2:

Then I came across these on the Thomann under "Active full range loudspeakers" and I'm thinking they could also be suitable:

Has anyone used the same monitors / speakers for home recording and live gigs? Anyone familiar with the above products?

I used a pair of Genelec 8050s w/ the .1 for a gig once. Sounded nice. These days i use Yamaha DSR 112 for reinforcement and Dynaudio for monitoring. Can't comment on the Behringer/Mackie stuff. You'll need a mixer and EQ as well

Oh yeah, mixed in a club years ago that had a pair of JBL far-field reference monitors as its PA - sounded really good.
