Sky home page query

    On the Sky HD Box home page letters such as W, S or DS, W, S or AD, W, S appear to the left of the preview mini screen as one scrols down the channels. Sometimes there are no letters. What do these letters signify? I rang the sky helpline and was first told by the agent that she did not know and would find out. She came back a few seconds later and said -unconvincingly -that they were there to help the programmers. Could this be so? Does anyone have a better answer?

    W = widescreen
    S = subtitles
    DS= Dolby Surround
    AD= Audio Description
