    Hello!!

Three 24 year old girls going interrailing for a month in August. Looking for some advice on where to definitely go or where to avoid... must see's etc!

Also if anyone could tell me roughly how much you'd expect to spend on a trip like this for a month!

    Thanks :)

Hi Never been Inter-railing (planning a trip myself though) But from being around Europe, If you are planning on heading to Germany hit up Berlin for at least a couple of nights. Great night life, was on a stag a few years back and it's still one of the best cities I've been in.

Stay anywhere around Alexanderplatz or a lot of people have told me to check the generator hstel out. If you do go make sure to take in Badeschiff(if the weather is good), It's an outdoor pool just outside the city Centre, with a bar great spot for during the day relaxing etc.

I'd say Europe is a rather safe place. No real problems if you don't bother people nor if you avoid using strangers' cars and non-licensed taxis.

Go see Berlin: give yourself at least 2-3 days to stay there. As dor just said, Alexanderplatz is a great place for young people night and day, and with a tube ticket you can go pretty everywhere in and out the city (which is huge).
Prague is another must see and is quite near to Berlin: take a 2-3 days trip. From there Vienna and Bratislava are great trips too.
Also check Munchen, Strasbourg, Dijon on the French part, and Geneve and Luzern in Switzerland (they're both stunningly beautiful). I'd avoid Bern, and go to Zurich only if had money left after the other things. Zurich is amazing, but if you already managed to see Luzern they might look very similar...

Talking about a budget I'd say a grand and a half at least (no restaurants nor hotels), if you don't account the interrailing ticket in the budget, but maybe you can do it with less if you are quite experienced travelers and know how to save your money: let's say that Berlin and Prague can be very cheap if you avoid the typical tourist shopping places...
