    Hi guys,

Does anyone know of decent 2nd furniture stores in and around Dublin...

Perhaps charity shops that do furniture also?

    Any help appreciated.

The stuff in oxfam has been really poor quality for years now and the prices are nuts. Herman Wilkinson in rathmines is your best bet

Oxfam home used to be really good but they have coped on to the fact that people are buying pieces to sell on. We go to the one in town a couple of times a week and probably get something maybe once a month you have to keep an eye out the whole time. There are a couple of other places we use but again are very hit and miss you need to be going in pretty often to get decent pieces half the stuff is literally falling apart. Other charity shops do get bits in the odd time but not often as it just takes up a lot of space.

If you are on Facebook, look up buy, sell and swap groups in your area. I've got loads of really decent furniture for little or nothing this way.

There's a shop at the Inchicore Village end of Emmet Road that sells all sorts of furniture/appliances etc.Not sure if its second hand or not,but I pass it every day and the prices are very reasonable.
