    Hi,

when i turn on the electric water heater the trip switch goes each time. I've had a look online and as far as i can see the element is gone in the boiler. I'm not keen on a diy job so am just wondering if i should get a plumber or electrician to fix this? There seems to be conflicting opinions on this around the web so any ideas are welcome,

    Cheers

Plumbers are allowed replace immersion and reconnect, their not allowed to rewire new from the fuse board.

So either trades can replace immersion once their qualafied and have public liability insurance.
