First of all, sorry if this is the wrong section to post this. Kinda lost here.

Anyways, living in brookfield at the moment (Horrible part of tallaght to be in btw) trying for the last 5 or so years to get a new offer from our housing people (nabco) all they do is offer us apartments or just tell us to keep waiting for something to come up on the waiting list. So we contacted the council and they pretty much gave us the same story nabco did. Cant be bothered waiting anymore. Is there any other housing cooperatives out there who we could contact?

Some areas in consideration would be, Tymon, castle part surrounding areas, dundrum, or anywhere near the luas greenline.

Like a mutual exchange you mean? Like swapping houses with someone whos in the same situation as us basically? or do you mean renting a house from a landlord?

They mean a straight swap between two council houses.

I see. Any good sites that would help with that? Only site I know of that helps with house swaps is gumtree. Mostly apartments though so not really much use :/
