Add date to photo

    Hi,

    Can some one tell me the best free software out there to add the date stamp to the photo please?

    Do you mean to type a time/date on a photo ?

    Practically any software can do that.

    Time/date will already be embedded in the EXIF data on the photo.

    Try Picassa - Open your photo, go to 'Picture' then 'Properties' and a sidebar will open showing all that info.

    You can adjust the time/date under the 'Tools' menu but to embed or show the info on the actual photo I think you'd have to type it on.

    Picassa has a text tool as well with plenty of fonts and colours.
