Replacing windows

Hi. We're replacing three large windows, two of which are north facing. We've gotten five quotes so far varying in price hugely. At either end were two large companies Mj and S. Could anyone with positive or negative experiences of these companies please Pm me.
Also, does the depth of the window impact hugely? 60 mm double glazed versus 90 mm double glazed?
Also we're considering triple glazed vs. double glazed.
Difference in u values are 1.2 for 60mm double glazed vs. .9 for 90 mm triple glazed. Obviously, there is a difference there but how does that relate to heating loss over time and is it worth paying an extra few hundred now for long term benefits?
Any info/comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
