Have a motocaddy pro series bag myself - last years model. Can't fault it. Excellent build quality. Doesn't leave in a drop of water. Plenty of pockets to hold everything you need. Sits perfectly on the trolley. Anti twist base works well. Putter well is very handy. Would buy the same again if I had to replace.

I find onlinegolf.eu a shade cheaper than the american golf website. Its the same company but you get the euro price and it converts cheaper than AG sterling price.

Using your bag on AG as example its £159.99 which converts to €197
Here it is on online golf.eu for €166.99 http://www.onlinegolf.eu/powakaddy-premium-cart-bag-232959.html

If you're buying in store AG beat prices not just match them so show them the price of your item online rather than their bumped up euro floor prices. You'll get that for €160 in store. Im pretty sure of that.

The Motocaddy bag has seven pockets, which I do not consider many, and the bag you reference has "numerous" pockets, whatever that means. A bag needs an absolute minimum of 10 to be of any use

WTF do you people being carrying?

To be honest, neither of them as they both look horrendous. I'd go back to the drawing board.

Looking at treating myself to a new bag next month so just looking for some opinions of two that I like the look of.

    http://www.motocaddy.com/uk/pro-series-golf-bag

    or

    http://www.americangolf.co.uk/gps-bags-equipment/trolley-cart-bags/powakaddy-premium-cart-bag-232959.html

Both are coming in at €179

Just wondering anyone using one at present or any negative issues that people would like to share.

I got the 2nd one a couple of years ago. It does everything it says on the tin but it annoys me.
    1. It weighs a tonne and carrying it from Carpark to the Caddy Cars is a pain. Plus the carrying strap clips across the front of the bag and therefore interferes with access to the pockets. If you have your own caddycar in the boot these problems go away.
    2. The pockets annoy me. There are plenty of them but its hard to get things in and out of them. Either they are too narrow or in the case of the top front pocket its like loosing coins, pens etc down the side of the sofa.

On the plus side they are bullet proof and definitely waterproof.

My advice is keep searching, especially at that price.

I'm with you buster, to each their own and all that but to my eye they're both ordinary enough looking... I bought the titleist rc13 recently, the 2014 version is even nicer and has the benefit of full length dividers. See here:

WTF do you people being carrying?

    1. Short tees
    2. Long tees
    3. New Balls
    4. Used balls
    5.Gloves
    6. Cash/Keys/Wallet
    7. Phone
    8. Raingear
    9. Gansy/jumper
    10. Cap & Hat
    11. Drink/Bottle
    12. Cardholder & Rules of Golf
    13. Pitchmark repairer and ball markers

I am very ordered and despair at some idiots searching through their bags for a bloody tee or ball marker. Some of the above could be combined which is why I said a minimum of 10

since i started carrying my bag I've cut what i bring down to the bear minimum.......now i wonder why i needed all the crap for before!!

I used to carry tons of spare balls just in case but 3 or 4 does now, few tees / markers / pencil, if its wet rain gear (if not leave it in the boot) and maybe a drink. That's it.

I just got the Nike Performance Hybrid bag. Hybrid because it is made for carrying or taking on a cart so best of both worlds

    http://www.amazon.com/Nike-Performance-Hybrid-Carry-Golf/dp/B00A35CS2U

plenty of pockets if required, waterproof pocket for keys/phone, clip for towel/gps, dedicated cooler pocket for drink (very fancy)

    i can recommend it highly

I have a carry bag thats super light and then a cart bag, I dont think one bag can cover both occasions well.

Once I get back to single figures I'm treating myself to a new Titleist Tour bag.
Hopefully the 2014 version though the way I'm playing...
