I would have liked to have gone to see the easyrams stand, but Gorey is the far end of the country so wasn't going to travel just for that.

Was talking to one man that owned the rams at the easyram stand from Erril co Laois. Nice looking ram that was imported from New Zealand small in comparison to a big lump of a Suffolk that was near enough next to them huge head on it.

Was there yesterday, good day but site was very wet. Nice to have so much sheep specific stuff in one place rather trying to find it between tillage and cattle stuff.
Had a good chat with Robyn as well on the easyrams stand, nice fella good craic.

I went to it yesterday with the missus. Planned to be out around 3 pm. Was home at 4pm this morning!!! Brilliant event showcasing all that is good in the industry. Competitive shearing was first class. I got a great deal on a new sheep race. The level of cooperation and local volunteer work was unbelievable. Any profits are going to local charities.

Seen the final on the live steam, wondering why Ivan Scott wasn't in the final as any time I've seen him he's a class act

He was very close. Only. .5 of a point between him and the final. He won't be far off the mark the next time I'd say.

He was close, anyone know what's the difference between the world final and the world open final, I see Scott was second fastest in that?

Unfortunately the word is they haven't enough in kitty now to cover cost of staging event. Pity, because a donation to charity would have capped a great industry showpiece.

How many people attended over few days do you know. I think they are finding it hard to cover costs on that event every year.
