When building a shed, can you reclaim the VAT as u build or do u have to wait until completed and reclaim all in one go?

    Important from cash flow!

Once you have the invoice. (Think it has to be marked paid now)

you can claim as often as you want once the claim is over €125 vat

you could claim for the dig out
    then for the tank
    again for the slats
    again for steel
and final fit out (water/elect and barriers)

    totally up to you

mostly lads will do 2 claims
    • dig out, tank and slats
    • steel, erection, water, elect, barriers and apron

for cashflow your looking at about 4 week turnaround time and always photocopy the form and invoices before sending them

The VAT 58 office was flooded in Dec/January . with water

    Thanks for that.

    That's good to know.

Important from cash flow planning for the year.

It's in limerick, address on form, but is now on 4th floor instead of 2nd, one of the ladies working there told me it could hold up your stuff getting to them by a few days if you put wrong floor on it eventhough it's all revenue in the building!!!

Think it's four years. We built a shed over a period of two years and just sent off invoices as they came in and were paid. Useful to keep money coming in! They were hit and miss time wise in the revenue getting the money back.
