Saturn not saving scores

    Hi guys,

    Just wondering if anyone could help me out here. I've recently put in a new battery in my Saturn and although the saturn boots up without showing the time & date screen anymore for some reason my games don't appear to be saving.

    Now I've only got 2 games at the moment (Darius Gaiden & the Street Fighter Collection - Japanese) but neither of them appear to save my high scores after a reset.

    Anybody know the reason that might be? I've only bought the console a couple of months ago so I'm not sure if that problem was there before.

    Ok, well I've just discovered that Darius Gaiden doesn't actually save high scores after a reset!!! Why they have done that is beyond me, as isn't that usually the main end goals in shooters? (apart from the no hit completion)

    As for SFC ....well I didn't realise you had to manually save your data ... so all is well :)

    Change the battery in the expansion port. It's a CR2032 I think.

    Oh I did that already, just so happened that both of the games I own have issues with saving, so that's what made me think there was a problem.
