Hey, I'm currently doing the Leaving Cert and I am afraid of my options if it doesn't go well. Is it possible to apply for a PLC after the results come out in August? Thanks!

Yes, but many of them will have no places left by then, apart from those places not being taken up by people who are going elsewhere and for popular courses there will be a waiting list for those places.

There is always a list of PLC courses with places still left on them, but they don't tend to be the ones a lot of people are interested in, or that have good progression paths.

Apply now if you still can. If you get the points for 3rd level then you can always drop the plc. Handy to have it as a back up rather than trying to get a place in September.
