Well lads just a quick one re. feeding a puppy.

ive a 3 month old pup coming next weekend and I was wondering what way ye think is the best to feed them.

I know they've to be fed 2-3 times a day , but how much each time do ye feed ?

well lad, and welcome, when i had my pups i fed them twice a day, gave them as much as they wanted till the stopped eating,i believe keeping them nice and fat when young gives them every opportunity of reaching their full potential, thats the way i do it anyway;)

With my pup if I over fed him he got the runs
Make sure you find out what food he is on now, because if u change straight away he will get the runs big time

Same advice as above , Check with the breeder and find out what he has been feeding the pup on , and go and get a bag this week before the pup arrives . I got My lab last year and he is a fine dog now , good breeding is the key and you will find as he gets a bit older and you start to train him , even in the basic obedience , it will come naturally to the dog . as for mixing mince in the food , I wouldnt do that until he is 8 or 10 months old , I give my lab a tin of tuna in oil mixed in the bowl of food once a week, its much easier on the stomach , it keeps his coat in great condition and certainly has'nt done him any harm. Best of luck with the dog , he will bring you many years of happy hunting.
