Anyone from here doing it this year? Completed this in 2012 and it was also my first ever 200 event, really enjoyed it but ended up doing the Tour De Burren last year so heading back to Cork this Year. It was a beautiful day back in 2012 so hopefully the same again this year as the route takes in some spectacular scenery, although if it starts in Bantry the big climb comes very early in the day!

Start has been moved to Bantry so easier access for me coming from Galway so going to go down on the Friday and hopefully get in the Healy Pass for a spin on the Friday.

I didn't have a GPS back when I did it in 2012 but I found this on Strava, its a segment but you can see the full ride:

From that and my strave from the Wickow 200 they both seem to have the same amount of climbing although from memory the West Cork was harder although that's more to do with it been my first ever 200.

Should have said in my original post its on the same day as the Tour De Burren on Saturday 21st June this year.

The poster says "on a route for serious cyclists". Does this mean the pace is really quick?

A 200k day over hills is by anyone's standards a serious cycle. That's what they mean I guess.
