Was on the way home from Dublin this evening and just as I was pulling into a filling station on the Naas Road an '08 BMW drove into the forecourt with plumes of smoke bellowing out from under the bonnet.

There was obviously some form of overheating going on .Yer man driving the car just parked up and sat in the car while the smoke got thicker and thicker from under the bonnet.

I've had overheating cars but yer man didn't even look under the bonnet ,just sat in the car.

I didn't have time to hang around and see what happened next.

I hate when you see something happening and can't wait around to see hw it unfolds

Two weeks back, out in Liffey Valley (Woodies) car park, an 11 month old baby had somehow triggered the central locking and locked herself in the back seat, with the keys in the ignition.. during a scorching hot day. Her mother was losing her mind (and her Dad wasn't too far off himself).

They thought about breaking the window, but were afraid the glass would hit her. As I was leaving they were pleading with her to open the door somehow, but she was just laughing and smiling, thinking they were playing. If you know how things panned out, let me know. Haven't slept right since.

Saw a similar thing with a BMW once it was smoke though rather than steam, stank to high heaven and yer man certainly wasn't sitting there.
