    How do you receive money with paypal. if you put an ad in a paper to do x online service can you put pay through paypal and how does it work? Does it need a paid paypal account?

    You can just give people the email address associated with your PayPal account. They can then use that email address on PayPal to find your account and send you money. It's very easy.

    Is that under send someone money in paypal? That the right page?

    In that case anyone who has a PayPal account can send money to your account by logging in to their account, choosing 'Send Money' from the menu along the top, filling in your E-Mail address and the amount and pressing send. All you have to do is give them the E-Mail address associated with your account.

    Or you can send them an invoice through Paypal by using the 'Request Money' option from the top menu once you know their Paypal E-Mail address.

    The money will then sit in your Paypal account and you can use it to buy other things using Paypal or until such time as you decide you want to withdraw some or all of it. You do that by choosing 'Withdraw' under the 'My Account' option. This will allow you to move money from your Paypal account to your bank account.
