Replacement key

Ive lost or someone has taken my key. Its a vw flip one with the fob. I need to get a replacement asap, as my spare doesnt work ..no battery. Do i need to get the lock changed as in think its been taken by someone with criminal intent.

VW Dealer will be able to get you replacement one once you have the car chassis number and documents in person and bring either driving licence or passport.

Thanks i live in a shared house and think an undesirable went through my stuff do i need to change the locks of my car.

I rang a scrap yard and they have door locks and two sets of keys from a mk5 golf whats involved with getting them on to my car seriously paranoid at the moment.
