    Hi
I have just upgraded from a standard sky box to a hd sky box,
On the old sky box I had my 5.1 speakers connected with the red and white leads and I was getting sound thru all the speakers.
With the new box I connected it to the amp with an optical cable but I only have sound coming out of two speakers, I tried changing the sound settings on the sky box to mono and dd but no joy.i then connected the sky box up the way the old one was with the red and white cable and still only 2 speakers are working.
Can anyone offer any advice on fixing this please.
    Thanks

did you change the sound out in the sky hd box to optical dolby d. leave the rest alone.

Then go a channel that is broadcasting in dolby d ie a movie channel but you should get sound from all speakers, if not check amp settings, what is make of amp?
