Are there many heading down. Seems like Orwell are migrating south for the weekend.
Last year was a great 3 days. Moving the stages around will make monday a tough day.
Hope the traditional BH weather makes an appearance.

I've never done 3 days in a row before. Will the third day be torture?

Day 1&2 are two of nicest routes anywhere in country.

Day 3 is very nice but not in same league.

    Decent club, very well organised.

I felt stronest on third day last year

Struggled on first day last year but got stronger as the weekend went on. Felt great on 2nd and 3rd day. I think there was a few more like me. Lucky with weather last year. Just hope it's dry and not too windy.

Might be a stupid question, but in what way does one feel stronger on the 2nd or 3rd day? Would there not be aches or fatigue creeping in?

Just signed up for this, but I can only see the start time for the first stage @ 9:30 on the site, would I be right to presume all the stages start at the this time.

The event manual gives 9:30 as the start time for each day. There's also talk of splitting the groups by speed/ambition i.e. first group will be those doing the 100 mile course as fast as poss, next group will be those doing the 100 mile but at their leisure, last will be those doing 50 miles. Not sure how much time they're planning to have between these groups.

Really enjoyed the few days in Kerry, despite the wet on stage 2. Marshalling was top notch, food stops were perfect for me (quick sambo, banana and bar for the pocket, refill the water and away!), and massages and hot food at the finish line!

Just did the Saturday but it was a great stage. Bit longer than expected, converted their miles to km and it came out at 136 but it was in fact 150.

Spectacular scenery, good group up front and great weather and organisation.

For anybody liking hills, scenery and tracks this is the stage for you.
