Where to get spare parts for a cart/trolley, wheels, etc?

Are there still yards around that sell parts of stuff like trolleys?

I'm in Galway and looking for wheels in particular, something like wheelbarrow wheels with axle.

    I'm building a kayak trolley.

In general are there yards around which sell bits and pieces?
Do the recycling centres allow people to have a root around?

You can get wheels here for €22 http://marineparts.ie/boat-launcher-wheel.html it would be handy enough to make up an axel for them or maybe something like an old golf cart would do as they have wide wheels and won't sink in the sand.

I bought a new wheelbarrow tyre and rim with axle for about €12 in a local hardware last year (pretty good quality with needle bearings), something similar to this:

I've seen plenty of individual advertisers on adverts.ie selling wheels and castors also, industrial sized and some similar to those you'd see on carts, trollies and large wheelie bins.

thanks but I want to keep costs to a minimum as I can purchase a ready made one for around 50 euro.
I was thinking more of recycling second hand parts, like wheels etc. But I don't know where to get them.

(I've seen the golf cart as an option, it still could be, if I got my hands on one for nothing).

I'm hoping to make a kayak trolley myself, using old wheels & upvc white piping. I have an old buggy but the wheels are too small. The new buggy's have big wheels which would be great.

I'm considering wheels off a cheap kids bike. I looked as using wheels off a pair of €8 stablisers in Smyths too. It all depends on your design. Bigger the wheels the better in sand. A golf buggy is a good idea.
