There has been a lot of hype in the media recently on the new No. 7 Protect & Perfect serum. Has anybody tried it, and if so, does it live up to the hype?

I bought the new 1 but havnt tried it yet as Im finishing my tube of the original protect and perfect serum but have to say I have been using it along with the p&p day and night cream every day for the last 3 wks or so and can honestly say it has made a difference to my skin!
Has improved my frown lines - not as much as I would like but Im sure they will get even better with continued use - and def difference to some small lines around my mouth (too many years smoking!). The pores either side of my nose have also shrunk and appear much less noticible under my makeup
The new advanced version is meant to be even better than the original so I would say give it a go :-)

It had gotten great reviews on boots website when I checked during the week. Thinking of getting it tomorrow if they have it in stock. They were all out last Sunday when I went in. There's 3 for 2 on at the mo and I'm nearly all out of both moisturizers also.

Yep theyr 3for2 is such good value and they also have a €6.50 voucher off no7 skincare so works out great! I use all no7 skincare face and body and find it brilliant.
Off topic but discovered their gel look shine nail polish when I went to buy the serum and am totally addicted now aswell - boots need to stop giving me those no7 vouchers coz I cant help myself going back for more :-)

Didn't see any improvement or difference.
Much prefer my anti aging facial oil.

The old serum was one of the very few which was independently tested and actually found to work, which is one reason why the expectations for this one is so high. This one is 6 times more concentrated than the old range, so one of their managers was telling me and it's advertised as giving noticeable results within 4 weeks; a brave and massive ask.

Boots Liffey Valley sold over a thousand of them last weekend alone! Between the boasts, the price range and the old range's excellent reputation, it's no wonder that it is flying out the door.
