Correcting but no car

    Hi all..
    just wondering what the situation is with correcting with no car. I know you have to pick the scripts up at the conference in athlone and thats fine..ill bring them back to dublin on the train. My question is how do you return them all? By post? And is there any other travel involved during the process?

    Your conference is unlikely to be in Cornamaddy so you'll have to get a taxi or lift from a fellow corrector from the conference to the SEC centre and then to the train station. Try and get there early as there can be mad queues.

    Taxi from train station to home.
    You will probably need to get a taxi to your local delivery office to send the big bag(s) back when you're finished correcting.

    Depending on where your local post office is, you'll be busy walking there with different selections of papers as your advisor requests them. From memory there is (at least) the sample 20 posting, the first, second and third 100 samples posting, plus maybe more if there are issues or changes to the marking scheme.
