Intel released OpenCL for linux or ... not??

    The strange bit:
    Q: Why can’t I distribute Ubuntu applications developed with the 2014 version?

    A: The purpose of the Ubuntu OS support is remote development of OpenCL applications on Android devices or emulators. The OpenCL device that is available upon SDK installation on a machine with Ubuntu OS should only provide a development environment on the host system, enabling building OpenCL kernel code on the host machine before testing and optimizing it on a target Android system.


    Is it just my impression or the "support" for linux means that you can fire the SDK to do some remote work on an android device?
