Where to buy Tag Heuer

I am looking to buy a Tag Heuer watch. The watch I want is a TAG HEUER CARRERA
CALIBRE 16 DAY DATE
AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH
43 MM
(Sorry I can't post a link)

It is over my 2.5k budget and 3,500 is the cheapest I can find it in Ireland in fields. I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience of buying a watch online?

I have found this website called watchmaxx which sells tags for very cheap. Seems to good to be true!

Is watchmaxx a US site? If so or coming from anywhere outside the EU any savings buying from a grey market dealer like that are going to be hit badly by customs fees. Secondly you won't have the manufacturers warranty. A quick look online seems to have them at around 3100 within the EU. I can't see you getting one for 2500, though maybe other folks here have some options?

Guess you are right to be careful.
I use the timezone uk website a lot and there is plenty of information regarding watch sellers on the site.

Have a look at this thread. I read it before making the move myself.
I am fairly sure the watch is a real Muhle!!

Cheers I emailed him last night asking him about a watch and where in Germany he is based. He just wrote back saying we have none in stock. Pretty poor customer service!
