So,my girlfriend and her ex husband have a 5 year old daughter, she lives with us.She has been having problems with him for some time regarding maintenance and other issues but the maintenance is the main prob. Its been through the courts and because he claimed he was unemployed he doesn't have to pay full maintenance until he finds work and the maintenance increases. Now,heres the problem. We got info from more then one source that he has opened a take away with someone and its been up and running the past 3 -4 months. He stil claims hes unemployed and stil claims welfare which would make me believe he doesnt pay taxes to avoid being caught to pay the maintenance.Oh,and he only sees his daughter(court order)every second week(hes late most of the time or dont bother coming over)

My question is how can my girlfriend prove hes working so she can go back to the courts?I understand that if hes claiming also he may lose hes job and stil pay what hes paying but she doeant really care, shes just sick of all hes lies and hurt hes causing his daughter....any info?

    Report the welfare fraud; https://www.welfare.ie/en/Pages/secure/ReportFraud.aspx

Wait a month or two, and then get a means test done on him. Harder to prove he doesn't have the means when he's not support by social.

I want to be 100% sure before reporting.I'll snap some pics when i get a chance. This guy is unbelievable,he also goes to the mountains for green diesel so i've been told which would explain why his car keeps breaking down all the time. Thanks for reply and if you know where I could report the green diesel thing let me know.Cheers

If he sees you, he could stop for a few weeks, and the Social Welfare won't catch him. Don't do it. The SW fraud squad are good at catching people, so DO NOT try to "help" as you will probably just undermine your case.

Green diesel doesn't harm your car. It's the stuff to take the green out that harms your car. Harder to prove, although Revenue are the ones to report it to. Don't follow him, as snapping pictures may get you into trouble by the criminal gang organising the laundering. If his car keeps breaking, it's probably costing the fool more in the long run.
