What was that that just flew overhead ? It looked like a four prop plane like a C130 , just flew over Janesboro/Kennedy Park ish and over the town . Very unusual . Well I thought it was very unusual which really counts for nothing .

No one came up with anything back then and it never dawned on me to post it here , it's probably too late now but I thought I would give it a shot .

The reason it stuck out to me was the route was ( or seemed to me ) directly over the city from south (ish) to north (ish) which is the opposite to the normal direction planes take over Limerick ie: east/west .

Anyone have any ideas as to what it might have been ?

    John

Three US Navy C130's in that day. So you most likely seen one depart. :)

Think I saw that as well around lunchtime. The 4 engines stuck out. I initially thought it was the CASA when I looked up but as that has only 2 engines I was a bit curious!
