Divorce abroad

    Hey guys,

I've searched but couldn't find a definite answer for this situation.

Two Irish citizens married in Ireland and both moved to US after. Both are still living in US but are now considering a divorce. Can this be done in the US and will it be legal in Ireland?

    Thanks.

Haven't lived in Ireland for 4 years but do plan to return. At the time of divorce though, both partied would be residents in the US.
