    Hi,

I know this might be an odd question. My daughter is starting to fill out her susi grant application and she now requires my income and savings details from me. Now call me old fashioned but I don't see why my kids should know these details. Can I fill this in myself and are the details entered then available to my kids to see? Thks.

You can fill it in yourself but in the summary at the end of the application it will reference your income and they will also recieve an email with the completed application form details.

I competely understand you wanting privacy. I'm 23, and haven't lived at home in 3 years. I live with my partner and our daughter, but I still have to apply as a dependant as I wasn't 23 on Janaury 1st this year. Having to ask my dad for all his income details was hard, It made both of us uncomfortable to be honest.

The system is ridiculous, I have tried to reason with them regarding my situation but they just give generic answers and talk about 'the rules'.
