Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Exactly as the title says.
Is it possible for a short journey?
    Volkswagen Polo, 1998.
If so, I would be intrigued to know how (preferably with pics)
    (these are all playboats)
    Thanks in advance!

Would 5 not exceed the weight limit of the bars ?

Probably depends on the bar's and kayak weights, but if it's 50kg load limit you will have a problem.

Most I've ever had is four. i think the fifth might be the straw that breaks the camels back.

Most bars will take 60 - 70 kg. Think room would be the problem. How short a journey? If really short, as in less the 1.5 miles, then make 2 trips.

    You mean something like this?

We managed another 2 on top again by the end.

I've seen plenty of cars with 5 creekers lined up on their sides on racks. Although given that they were super width racks on Mondeos and 4x4's. For playboats I'd say just stack them vertically. 2 columns of boats.
