May is almost gone and its not looking promising on the weather front so far.
Summer washout or summer scorcher, what does AH think or hope?
personally I do not fancy a wet dull summer and then straight into a winter.

If you fill your days doing stuff come the winter you'll remember it as a good summer, if you sit about doing fuck all and whinging about the weather you'll remember it as a shite summer.

the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

It will not match the summers of your childhood, when the sky was technicolor blue, the evenings long as elastic, the ice-cream was sweeter and your team won the cup. That will all happen some day in your memory because that is what summers are for.

It will most likely be crap. But I'll still stock up on pretty summer dresses and sandals that I'll probably get to wear twice.

I don't know where you are but I've just enjoyed two glorious days of warm sunshine. Temperatures are above normal and rainfall amounts down. I have been fishing and gardening every day for the past 2 weeks with only one day of rain.
The true summer weather is July and August anyway. It's still only May!
