    Sorry about the resurrection but can you advise how this works?
    I've got the two connected but the Tp-link doesn't see the modem. Any advice?

    Yes I experience same problem initially, then remembered to update the TP Link router to the latest firmware and it worked straightaway.

    i had an issue with the WDS bridging in the latest firmware and had to go back a version. Obviously getting the dongle working is the priority but just something to be aware of if you too use that feature.

    Anyone know if this modem will work with a (non 4G) V1 mr3420?
    Naturally it won't work at 4G speeds
