Hi guys. Opinions on this car please. Had an e46 for years and loved it so am thinking of moving onto this. My e46 is gone by the way so I am carless. Comes in just about budget. Don't really want to travel outside limerick either as I'm carless and don't really have the time.

Going to have a look at it tomo evening. Anything in particular to check for?

Didn't think anyone was buying anything bigger then 1.6 in petrol anymore:P

Paintwork looks a bit rough and flat in places but if it has a full service history that would be great. But would say fully serviced means they may have serviced it now...

I would recommend a mechanic give it a once over.
The usuall check oil and coolant and give a good run also look for extra wear just too be sure she isn't clocked.

Cannot speak for the car but can offer my experience of the establishment selling it. They are BMW specialists with years of experience with the brand and they looked after my E90 when I had it, not the cheapest mind you but they are decent to deal with, professional and I never had any issues with them.

Have a pic of them alloys, and was gonna bitch about them in the chat thread but since they're here, what awful things to have on a bmw, minging! Do nothing for the car.

looks nice enough, would you consider an E39 or E60 5 series? you would be looking at 2.2L or 2.5L petrol though tax wise...
