I believe SAP are regularly voted one of the best companies in the world to work for. One example: http://www.glassdoor.com/Reviews/SAP-Reviews-E10471.htm

Have to use some SAP time management system at work, its possibly the worst piece of software I've ever seen considering the size of the company. I know it doesn't reflect the company, but based on there software I wouldn't even apply.

I work for SAP in Dublin - and although I cannot speak for the company itself or its other employees - personally, I find SAP to be an absolutely amazing company to work for.

The OP comparing SAP to Microsoft in saying that MS is a "horrible company" is ill-inform and just down-right silly.

I had an interview for this role last Wednesday and they told me that it would be sometime this week before they would get back to me (hate waiting). So basically for this job if I get they are gonna ship me off to Philadelphia for 2 months training, 30% of the job will require traveling to North and Central America.
When the probation period is over you can work 2 days per week from home and the canteen is free.
Sounds pretty sweet to me and I would love to get an offer, fingers crossed

Not horrible at all, you should look up with videos on You Tube, check out the AppHaus, all of these people work with me. 260 new roles were announced yesterday, lots more opportunities to come work with us in both the Dublin and Galway offices.

2 days at home - that is Sa and Su? What you can find in the canteen actually? Free does not mean healthy or great. Usually it means coca cola, burgers and other cancer related crap consumed by fat stupid people.

P.S.: microsoft is indeed a holy shjt, don't try to argue, you sound just down-right silly.

Its traditional to go postal after you've worked in a place, not before.

If you think its that bad don't apply.

Seriously - why bother ask for opinions when you are just going to dismiss them?

You obviously have a chip on your shoulder about large IT companies, so why not do yourself a favour and look for a job elsewhere?

I'm guessing someone wasn't good enough to get an interview ;)

They sound like a great place to work.

Great company to work for, been working with them for a year in Dublin and have no complaints at all. The free lunches are a great benefit with a lot of healthy options if you're into that kind of thing ;)

I have a potential offer for this position pending references etc.

I was wondering if anyone who has secured this type of role could PM to let me know the level of salary that I should expect to be offered for this role. It would be an entry level role for me as I am a recent graduate.

    Thanks in advance.
