heard good reports... well unsure if off spring from him yet.... that so-he small??

Large bulls will not work for dairy man going forward. My focus is now back on softer type cattle with jasper, carton roe, bohey, coolcoligan bloodlines ... But could be wrong

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,212 ✭✭✭wiggy123

think a mix of both needed.. re old bloodlines + new.. might get a good cross then, re features of both

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 383 ✭✭jerdee

I agreed with you a mix of both. As customers are coming from dairy and suckler herds .
With the suckler guy looking for a taller bull to cover larger cows.

Even suckler men are looking for something smaller and easier to finish too.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Can't keep them all. Will use ZLL again on heifers. She just spat him out @ 275 days.
